Courtney Montague

Oral Health Therapist

Courtney is a Brisbane local, born and raised, with a strong foundation in both public health and clinical dentistry. After completing her Bachelor of Health Science (Public Health) at the University of Queensland in 2019, her studies in population health, epidemiology and body systems—combined with hands‑on experience as a dental assistant with Dr Matthew Littleton—sparked a deep interest in oral health as a key part of whole‑body wellbeing.

In 2021, Courtney moved to Rockhampton to continue her training and, in 2023, graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Oral Health (Hons). She spent her graduate year with Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service in School Dental and Geriatric Care, caring for both children and older patients and gaining valuable experience in prevention‑focused, gentle dentistry before returning to Brisbane private practice.

Courtney is actively involved in professional advocacy through the Oral Health Association of Australia and is committed to improving oral health outcomes through ongoing research and continuing professional development. She is passionate about delivering ethical, holistic, evidence‑based care—helping you understand your mouth, prevent problems early and “get well and stay well” with tailored guidance on daily habits, diet and home care.

Outside of dentistry, Courtney enjoys gardening on her property, listening to the Hamish & Andy podcast, and spending time with friends and family—balance that helps her bring warmth, patience and genuine care to every appointment.
